vitopic.jpg NEW YORK CITY - On September 10th, F/VA filmmaker and Director Maria Pusateri will be hosting a Special Fundraiser Screening of "Vito After" at the Two Boots Pioneer Theater. The Director and Detective Friscia will participate in a Q&A session following film along with pizza and drinks downstairs in the Den.

About the Film

"Vito After" is the post 9/11 story of Vito Friscia (pictured right), a tough Brooklyn homicide detective who is used to ignoring his own needs. He survived the rescue efforts of 9/11 to spend months sifting through toxic rubble, searching for remnants of those who perished. An intimate portrait of a family man who was just doing his job, Vito After is about mourning, coping, living with the WTC cough and overcoming denial.  For more information about visit www.vitoafter.com.
